Pura Batu Bolong, Bali

Pura Batu Bolong is a small Hindu shrine on a headland that juts into the ocean. It is located a short distance to the north of Pura Tanah Lot. The dramatic seascape at Pura Batu Bolong makes it a favorite among photography buffs. The temple stands at the end of a natural rock arch.

To reach Pura Batu Bolong, walk along the coast. It curves over a sheltered cove littered with huge boulders. The cove has a beach known as Enjung Galuh. There is also a temple at Enjung Galuh dedicated to Dewi Sri, the goddess of prosperity and patron to the rice farmers.
